PREPARATIONS for the highly anticipated 16th edition of Sanganai Hlanganani World Tourism Expo slated for October 12-14 at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair(ZITF) in Bulawayo are now at an advanced stage.
The Sanganai Hlanganani World Tourism Expo is an annual event held in Zimbabwe that showcases the country's tourism potential. The Expo attracts local and international exhibitors, industry professionals, and visitors interested in exploring Zimbabwe's unique attractions and investment opportunities.
Organizers of the Expo said the momentum of preparations continues to build and this year's prestigious event is set to shine a spotlight on destination Zimbabwe's exhilarating wildlife, rich culture heritage and unparalleled hospitality.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Expo, Zimbabwe Tourism Authority's Head of Corporate Affairs Godfrey Chief Koti said:
"This year's edition of the Sanganai Hlanganani Expo is expected to attract visitors from around the globe, firmly establishing Zimbabwe on the international tourism map. By showcasing the country's diverse attractions and investment opportunities, the expo provides a platform to attract international tourists and potential investors".
Koti also shared the main purpose of the Expo:
"One of the core objectives of this Expo is to foster collaboration and networking opportunities among industry professionals. By serving as a meeting point for local and international exhibitors, travel agents, tour operators, journalists, and government officials, the event facilitates fruitful partnerships and drives growth in the tourism industry. Together, stakeholders aim to generate revenue, create sustainable employment opportunities, and propel Zimbabwe's tourism sector forward."
In a statement, the organizers of the Expo said to equip entrepreneurs and businesses with knowledge and skills, a lot of events are being organized, amongst them workshops, training programs etc:
To ensure exceptional service delivery during the event, workshops, training programs, and quality assurance sessions are being organized to equip businesses with the necessary skills and knowledge.
With a comprehensive marketing campaign at its core, the expo aims to raise awareness of Zimbabwe's unique experiences and attractions.
