ESTHER SIBANDA popularly known as Intombi Yabelungu is a fast rising maskandi musician from Nkayi in Matabeleland North but currently based in South Africa.
Sibanda's music journey started in 2017 with a group called Ubuhle Bamangun.

(Q): May you take us through your music journey.
(A): I started these arts things in the year 2016.We had a film group, and had a film we wanted to shoot but we failed to shoot it because of different challenges with some were beyond our control.After our film project failed we then opened a music group that was called Ubuhle Bamangun.It was now 2017 and that's when my music journey started.We recorded an Album, after that other group members left the group and that was the end of it.
(Q): Ohh ok, and what happened after that, did you give up or something?
(A): No I didn't give up.In 2019 I started my own thing and released my first Album as Intombi Yabelungu titled "Khona Kunzima".I marketed that song seriously and as it is said that hard work pays, I won 5 different Awards with that song, 4 here in South Africa and 1 at home(Skyz Metro FM Awards)"

(A): Maskandi
