THE 2023 edition of KwaNtuthu Comedy Festival kicked off in the City of Kings on Wednesday 25 October running under the theme "it's on".
Sponsored by European Union and Culture Fund under the Creative2actions, this year's Festival kicked off on high note, with a show dubbed 'Theatre Night' were students from three (3) local schools namely Christian Brothers College(CBC), Dominican Convent High and Charleston Trust Primary School rocked the stage with outstanding performances.
Day 2 it was a battle between Zimbabwe's two largest cities Bulawayo and Harare Stand-Up Comedians in a show dubbed BYO vs. HARARE Comedy Show.
Speaking to BANO NEWS, Festival Director Huberty 'Maforty' Ndlovu said:
"The First Two Days went well great turnout so far great Audience, amazing performers"
"Day Three is upon us as we screen two short films done by Dominican Convent Drama Club." Said Ndlovu
