BULAWAYO Province division two champions Zebra Revolution Football club is set to host its award giving ceremony on Saturday 9 December at the Sizinda Hall at 11:00am following a tough but successful history making season.
Speaking during an interview with BANO Sports coach Mkhokheli Dube highlighted that the awards are meant to appreciate the players for for their contribution, effort and commitment which they applied during the course of the season.
"We do the end of the year awards to applaud our boys for all the work they would have done all year round, which is to motivate and empower them as well. The awards also encourage the parents to be supportive and know that football can be a livelihood to the boys".
He also mentioned that the awards are meant to create a strong bond between players, supporters thereby equipping the suppprters with the team's vision.
"We want our supporters to know our boys as well, the special day will give us an opportunity to meet each other and also to see our growth as a club", said coach Mkhokheli Dube.
The guests which are expected to attend the special day are the sponsors, Zimbabwe Football association (ZIFA) delegation as well as topflight league (ZPSL) players and soccer legends.
Zebra Revolution FC who were recently crowned champions of the Bulawayo province division two will next year ply their trade in the Southern Region division one.
