GOALKEEPER Bhekimpilo "Khabe" Ncube has secured a permanent move to premier league side Hwange FC from Harare giants Caps United after spending one year in the capital.
The short stopper penned a 2 year deal with Hwange FC who have been looking for a replacement following the departure of their first choice goalkeeper Nedrick Madeya who recently joined Chisumbanje based outfit Green Fuel.
Speaking during an interview Bhekimpilo Ncube expressed his excited for joining the colliery side and also highlighted his targets for the upcoming season.
"It's a great honour and pleasure, I'm more than happy that I'll now play more and do what I know and love best. I'm targeting more clean sheets this season atleast 16 and also feature in the sports calender I'm also hoping for a national team call up", said Ncube.
Before joining Hwange FC "Khabe" plied his trade with the green machine were he saw very little game time due to rotation of goalkeepers by coach Lloyd Chitembwe who solely depended on Tonderayi Mateunga at most.
Bhekimpilo "Khabe" Ncube is well known in the domestic league after displaying heroic saves which helped Yadah FC survive relegation in the 2019 season.
However the utility goalkeeper could not execute the same heroic attributes at Bulawayo City FC after picking a career threatening injury during a matchday which made him unavailable as the council side could not survive relegation in 2022 despite acquiring the services of Reward Muza from Highlanders on a loan deal.
The short stopper has also enjoyed football with different topflight teams in the domestic league which include Chicken Inn FC, Bulawayo City, Yadah FC and Caps United.
