A journey of a thousand begins with a single step and that first step is always the hardest, this week we feature Alloe The Rapper On the spotlight.

Allois Ncube also known as Alloe the Rapper is a Bulawayo bred musical artist born on the 27th of June 1998 in Matopo at a village called Njelele.

He grew up at a village called Mandihongola in Gwanda, then moved
to the City of Kings and
Queens (Bulawayo) in 2018.


Alloe's musical journey kick-started in 2019 as a member of the Bulawayo Voices of Victory Choir.

Two years after experiencing city life, he  went on to pursue a solo career in his musical journey "Ngeke Balunge" released in 2020 marked his initial step in a journey of a thousand miles.

To date, he has released
an album "Umkhondo the Trace" as well as single tracks.

Alloe specialises in hip hop music fused with african sounds that includes african drums, marimba and a bit of mbira coming up with a different sound.

Not only a recording artist, Alloe has performed at various events that include, Glow Sunday Chillax, Blackout Events, Bulawayo Key to The City Festival, My Heritage Show, Sunrise Leading Show(Launch), Miss Summer 2021, Ultra Instinct Events, just to name a few.

He was featured in the Ibrah Magazine 2021 June Issue and Tender Eye Magazine, this has earned him fame in the streets of Bulawayo.

In an interview with this gazette, Alloe The Rapper promised his loyal fans visuals from his debut album, Umkhondo The Trace that he dropped last year.

Already he aired a video in the form of a studio performance set for his lead song from the album "Umkhondo".

The hip hop artiste got recognized as he received a nomination on the forthcoming Kokota Festival Awards to be held next month at the Vista.

He expressed his emotions towards the nomination. He said,

"I would say , it feels too good to be recognized as one of the outstanding. It may look or sound small but it's giving the impression to keep going and score some more.

I am anticipating to bring the award home"

The Bulawayo based hip hop artist was nominated under The Most Performing Artist category battling out for the accolade against Elbee among other artists from the City of Kings.

The voting process is ongoing.

The artiste also added that he is active on all social media platforms as well as his music is available on all digital platforms.
