VUYOE ‘Adoe’ Dube, a sensational Afropop/Afrosoul muso from Bulawayo is set to release his 12 track debut album on the 12th of April.
The album titled ‘Uhambo Lwami’ is a mirror to Adoe’s life story and documents different events of his life dating back to his childhood.
The album is a mixture of his melancholy, joys as well as his aspirations.
It features renowned musician Bekezela, award winning Kwaito/Amapiano artist MziStozz Mfanafuthi, dynamic poetess Chichie The Poetic Queen, songstress Thandy Dhlana and the sensational reggae artist Mandie Mae amongst other Bulawayo based creatives.
The album was co-produced by Dab Three Events Studios' Beke Ncube and Smashmaker.
Adoe stated that working with the legendary Bekezela was a dream come true for him, “I am greatly honoured to have Bekezela feature in the album. As for MziStozz, I remember watching him perform live at Dab Three All Stars and wishing to have him feature in the album as well. When he agreed, it was truly a blessing.
"Working with Chichie The Poetic Queen was also a marvel. She is indeed a poetic Queen. She came through to the studio and delivered a beautiful piece. Every single creative who is part of the project added a unique touch and I’m immensely grateful for that”, he added.
The album will be available on all digital streaming platforms and music videos will also be released thereafter.
Adoe's upcoming album portends all the hallmarks of how one should introduce themselves to the music scene.
