UMAHLEKISA Entertainment, renowned for their ability to bring joy and laughter to any occasion, is curating an exciting comedy tourism show titled "Comedy and Ballads in the Ruins."
This unique event is part of Umahlekisa's Comedy Tourism initiative, which aims to encourage people to visit tourist destinations by incorporating comedy into the experience. Recognizing that some individuals may hesitate to visit these destinations due to concerns about limited entertainment options beyond sightseeing, Umahlekisa seeks to provide an alternative form of amusement.
The primary objective of this initiative is to promote domestic tourism by offering engaging and diverse entertainment opportunities. "Comedy and Ballads in the Ruins" is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Tickets are priced at US$25 and include a round-trip party bus transportation to and from the Ruins, a guided tour of the enchanting Khami Ruins, as well as a delightful braai (barbecue) experience.
This wondrous event promises to be a captivating fusion of music, abstract art, comedy, and poetry, showcasing how comedy can serve as a bridge between various art forms and forms of entertainment.
The stellar line-up of performers includes Thandy Dlana, Nkosi King, and Zwe Hlabangana.
Additionally, surprise DJs aboard the party bus will serenade attendees with delightful music en route to the Ruins, adding to the overall festive atmosphere.
Umahlekisa Entertainment Director, Ntando Van Moyo said the preparations are going well.
