LAST year's Bulawayo province division two champions Zebra Revolution FC are ready to begin their journey in the Southern Region first division following their promotion into the league.

Speaking during an interview,  Zebra Revolution head coach Mkhokheli Dube highlighted some positive signs within the camp as the players await for the first game in the new league.

"We are ready for the first game as it will be the first test for our boys in division one, we are getting into an unknown territory, our boys worked really hard to get here so we are looking forward to learning and growing aswell".

He also described paying attention as a key driver to maintain success and order.

"Football is the same , as long as you follow instructions and stick to the basics then everything will fall into place. Our aim is simple to
make sure we are in league next year", said coach Dube.

Zebra Revolution FC who earned an automatic promotion into the division one league through their outstanding performance and clinching the maiden title are also joined by the likes of Bulawayo City and Victoria falls FC.

However the Mkhokheli Dube led outfit will be without four key players who joined topflight football teams during the beginning of the year which include Mongameli Tshuma, Arnold Dube, former captain Tawanda Shenje who all joined the colliery miners Hwange FC while Zibusiso Sibanda joined Arenel Movers on a season long loan move.

Sizinda based outfit Zebra Revolution FC are welcomed by a tricky opponent Mainline FC in their first game of the 2024 Southern region division one in a match that could attract a large crowd.

The 2023 history makers Zebra Revolution FC are an opponent to worry about as they displayed some exciting football last season in the division two thereby collecting every silverware enroute to title glory.

It is also unfortunate that division two runners up Chicken lnn FC will not take part in the Southern region division one league along Makhandeni Pirates and Ajax.
