BARELY a month after meeting the Mthwakazi Republic Party(MRP) leader Mqondisi Moyo, yesterday the visionary leader of Zimbabwe African National Congress(ZANC) Timothy Mncube had another meeting with the former Minister of Finance and former CCC Vice president Tendai Biti.
The two met in South Africa where the leader of ZANC is based.The agenda and other details of the meeting will be shared soon.
One might wonder what could be the agenda of this man, because less than a month ago he was seen with the leader of Mthwakazi Republic Party(MRP) Mqondisi Moyo, and recently there was a circulating video of him praising and appreciating the good works by the President of Zimbabwe who is also the first Secretary of the ruling party ZANU-PF, his Excellency Dr. Emmerson Mnangagwa, and now he is seen with former opposition member Tendai Biti. To explain this, Mr. Timothy Mncube said:
"It is my vision and of my party Zimbabwe African National Congress(ZANC) to revive the spirit of unity and ubuntu amongst the people of Zimbabwe."
"People of Zimbabwe shouldn't be divided or fight because of politics. The aim of all these political parties is to get to power and transform Zimbabwe into a better state than it is now, but that doesn't mean we have to shed blood or beat each other.It is every Zimbabwean's right to vote for their party of choice or form a political party but that should be done in a peaceful manner"
Mncube went on to say:
"Even I am an opposition leader but another thing I would like to appreciate is the beautiful works and development in our country that has been done by the current Government."
"Look at that beautiful new Parliament building at Mt Hampden, Electricity load shedding is now a thing of the past, no more electricity challenges and hopefully soon soon there won't be water shedding challenges too"
He alluded that:
"We have to unite as Zimbabweans, fighting won't solve anything. I am ZANC but I engage and have a dialogue with other political leaders because the aim is to grow our beautiful country Zimbabwe. We ZANC we're into smart politics, we don't hate or fight other political parties.We preach peace amongst the people of Zimbabwe. Our aim is to create a better Zimbabwe for all."
"Our forefathers sacrificed their lives and fought for us so that we have the freedom that we are having today in our country.Let's continue being a peace loving country and not allow people with wrong agendas to divide.Politics shouldn't divide but unite.If it's time to vote let's vote for our favorite parties or candidates in peace.If you vote for ZANC it is what is and that means you understand their manifesto better than the one of other political parties," said Mncube
