A groundbreaking innovation has emerged from Zimbabwe, thanks to the brilliant mind and unwavering determination of a young businesswoman, Kudzai K. Maphosa. At this year’s 64th Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), Maphosa introduced an electrode paste manufactured entirely from recycled waste materials.
During an interview with BANO News reporter, Maphosa explained that her innovative electrode paste is not locally available as such they are imported by foreign companies at high costs.
Her determination to see her project come to reality is a testament to her undying entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to finding sustainable solutions to the country’s pressing issues.
As for her inspiration, Maphosa highlighted the ZITF’s theme of “Innovation: The Catalyst to Industrialization and Trade” as her motivation. “The theme of this year’s ZITF perfectly encapsulates my goal of developing innovative solutions for Zimbabwe.
