Newly promoted Zebra Revolution FC made history in front of home fans by recording their first ever victory in the division one league following a 4-2 comfortable win against Victoria falls based outfit Mosi Rovers.
It was matchday two of the Southern Region division one league that saw a crowd pulling Zebra Revolution FC collect their first ever maximum points in the new league.
Early first half goals from Zebra Revolution's Prosper Ncube and captain Trevor Mugwagwa stole the limelight before the visitors got back into the game through Nkosikhona Ncube's brace before the referee blew his whistle for half-time.
Marching into 2nd half whatever coach Mkhokheli Dube told the players during the break proved to be desicive as Zebra Revolution returned their lead through Sean Marara's goal.
Zebra Revolution fc kept much of the possession displaying entertaining football outclassing the visitors who seemed to growing in frustration as they were kept chasing shadows.
It was substitute Panashe Ngwenya who pinned the final nail to the coffin as Zebra Revolution ran riot pumping 4 goals past the visitors.
Speaking during an interview Zebra Revolution head coach Mkhokheli Dube reflected on the error that led to conceding and also highlighted the how they took total control of the second half.
"Lack of concentration at this level you have to concentrate throughout the game, we had one of our players injured as well. It is one of those situations whereby when you lack concentration you get punished".
"We are a possession keeping team, keep the ball starve the opponents of the ball and they didn't get any chance in the second half", said coach Mkhokheli Dube.
The victory comes as a milestone and confidence booster to last year's Bulawayo province division two champions Zebra Revolution FC.
