"Catholic Laity Gather at Fairbridge for Joyous Celebration, Vice President Dr. Constantino Chiwenga Attends Mass"

Today, the Catholic community from the Archdiocese of Bulawayo came together at Fairbridge to celebrate a momentous occasion – the Golden Jubilee of one of the church's most devoted and longest-serving priests, Father Charles Mafurutu.
The milestone was marked with a special Mass, led by His Grace Archbishop Alex Thomas, SVD, of the Archdiocese of Bulawayo.
The joyous celebration was further distinguished by the presence of Zimbabwe's Vice President, General (Retired) Dr. Constantino Chiwenga, who joined the congregation to pay tribute to Father Mafurutu's dedication and commitment to serving the church and the community.
This extraordinary achievement is a testament to Father Mafurutu's unwavering devotion, hard work, and selflessness over the past 50 years. Throughout his long and distinguished career, he has inspired countless individuals, providing guidance, comfort, and spiritual nourishment to those in need.
