Nkulumane MP Inspires Nkulumane High School Students Ahead of Exams

By MKHOKHELI ZIBENGWA

Nkulumane Constituency MP, Hon. Desire Moyo, yesterday delivered an empowering public lecture to Form 4 and Upper 6 students at Nkulumane High School as they prepare for their upcoming O- and A-Level exams.

Speaking to the 340 O-Level and 26 A-Level candidates, Moyo urged the students to aim for excellence, promising special academic support for the top performers.

"Nkulumane High is the pride of our community. We want to celebrate excellence and ensure that our brightest students receive the assistance they deserve. Education is the key to unlocking our future," Moyo said, addressing the attentive crowd.

The MP further encouraged the learners to see the exams as an opportunity for growth, emphasizing, "These exams are not just a test of knowledge, but a test of character and discipline. The future of our community depends on how you use your education to bring positive change."

The event, which was attended by the deputy headmaster of Nkulumane High School, her assistant, and members of the Nkulumane Development Committee, left a profound impact on the students.

One learner expressed their joy at seeing their MP in person, stating, "It was inspiring to see someone in his position caring about our future. His words have given me the motivation to push for greater heights."

Another student added, "What he did today motivates us to work harder and believe in our potential. We now feel more confident going into these exams."

With exams set to begin next week for O- and A-Levels, and Grade 7 exams already underway, Moyo’s motivational talk couldn’t have come at a better time, reinforcing the significance of education in building a brighter future for the Nkulumane community.
