Renowned author and creative voice Mthulisi Ndlovu popularly known as KingKG returns to the literary spotlight with his latest offering, “Politricks Profits and Puppets” a powerful and thought-provoking story that digs deep into the fabric of ambition, control, and personal choices.

The book is set to officially launch by August 15 and is already generating buzz across literary and intellectual circles.

Far from a political rant or a mere commentary on corruption, the book weaves together fiction, realism, and introspection to examine how individuals, institutions, and unseen forces influence each other in the pursuit of power. At its heart, “Politricks Profits and Puppets” explores the dynamics of influence — who holds it, who wants it, and who gets caught in its crossfire.

Written with KingKG’s signature depth and boldness, the book follows characters navigating systems that demand loyalty while punishing honesty. It asks uncomfortable questions about self-preservation, societal expectations, and what happens when people become both the players and the pawns in a larger game.

The title itself, stripped of commas, symbolises the blurred lines between what is genuine and what is manipulated — a theme that runs throughout the narrative. Readers are invited into a world where every action carries a consequence, and where profit is often prioritised over principle.

With his compelling storytelling and fearless approach, KingKG presents a story that is as emotionally engaging as it is intellectually challenging. The book is expected to appeal to readers who enjoy layered fiction with real-world relevance, as well as those drawn to stories that question systems of power without offering easy answers.

“Politricks Profits and Puppets” will be available in e-book format from mid-August, with physical copies to follow later this year. The launch is set to include interactive dialogue sessions with readers, writers, and thought leaders — all eager to unpack the ideas raised in what could be KingKG’s most resonant work yet.
