Highlanders Football Club has appointed veteran football administrator Denzil Mnkandla as its new Chief Executive Officer, with immediate effect.

In an official statement released by the club, Highlanders hailed Mnkandla’s wealth of experience and leadership, noting his long-standing contributions to Zimbabwean football. Prior to this appointment, Mnkandla held several key administrative roles at FC Platinum, where he earned recognition for his strategic and operational expertise.

“Mr. Mnkandla, a football administrator with a wealth of experience, has previously served in various administrative roles at FC Platinum,” the statement read.

His appointment marks a new chapter for Bosso, Zimbabwe’s oldest and most widely supported football club. The club extended a warm welcome to Mnkandla, urging supporters to rally behind him as he steps into his new leadership role.

Highlanders FC, affectionately known as “Bosso,” is hoping that Mnkandla’s arrival will inject renewed energy and direction into the club’s operations, both on and off the pitch.
