The Eli-Shaddai Day Care and Pre-School in Ward 22, Nkulumane Constituency, has embarked on a fundraising campaign to construct a new classroom block at its recently acquired site, a move hailed as a vital step toward strengthening early childhood education in the community.
Nkulumane Member of Parliament Desire Moyo, who attended the fundraising ceremony, applauded the school’s efforts and reaffirmed his support for grassroots educational initiatives that empower young learners and provide relief to working families.
“This initiative holds great promise in strengthening and expanding early learning and day care services within our constituency. It is a direct investment in empowering our children, supporting parents, and building a strong foundation for Nkulumane’s educational future,” said Hon. Moyo.
Hon. Moyo also issued a heartfelt appeal to residents of Nkulumane, including those in the diaspora, to support the project and help make the vision a reality.
“We wish the Eli-Shaddai team great success in this endeavor and call upon all sons and daughters of Nkulumane local and abroad to come forward and support this noble cause. Let us build a brighter future for our children, together,” he said.
The event drew the participation of parents, educators, and community leaders, all of whom pledged to play a part in improving infrastructure for Early Childhood Development (ECD) in the area.
