The Pumula Royal Arts and Community Awards (PRACA) will return for its 6th edition from 18 to 20 December 2025, bringing together artists, community leaders, and changemakers under the theme “Transforming Communities: Amplifying Youth Voices, Accelerating Change through Arts and Youth Creative Engagement.”
Organised by Home of Arts Entertainment, PRACA has become one of the country’s most anticipated cultural events, celebrating outstanding achievements in the arts, culture, and community service.
“This year’s theme reminds us that the arts are not just for expression but for transformation.PRACA is about inspiring action, creating opportunities for the youth, and driving sustainable change in our communities," said Executive Director Happy Mpofu
The three-day celebration will blend creative showcases with serious dialogue on entrepreneurship, innovation, and social impact. It will open with youth-focused business and arts engagements, followed by a high-profile dinner honouring nominees and partners, before culminating in a gala ceremony to present awards to individuals and organisations making a tangible difference.
While rooted in Pumula, the awards continue to recognise talent from across Zimbabwe, underscoring their growing national significance.
Organisers say the event will not only shine a spotlight on Bulawayo’s cultural richness but also strengthen collaboration between the public, private, and community sectors. Venues will be announced in the coming weeks, with sponsors and partners already being courted to support the showcase.
