Amakhosi Amahle are officially back in the Premier Soccer League (PSL)! Bulawayo Chiefs FC secured their top-flight return after a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Bosso 90 in a decisive ZIFA Southern Region Soccer League clash on Saturday.

The win saw Chiefs confirm their promotion to Zimbabwe’s elite league for the upcoming season, marking a triumphant return for the club after months of consistent performances in the second-tier competition.

The “Amakhosi”, as they are fondly known, showed resilience and determination to overcome Bosso 90 in a tightly contested match that kept fans on the edge of their seats. The result capped a memorable campaign for the Bulawayo-based side, who have been chasing a PSL comeback since their relegation.

With the victory, Bulawayo Chiefs now join FC Hunters, the Marondera-based side that recently clinched the ZIFA Eastern Region Soccer League title, as the latest additions to next season’s Premier Soccer League lineup.

Club supporters erupted in celebration at the final whistle, singing and dancing as the players and technical team savoured the moment of redemption and return to top-flight football.

The promotion marks a fresh chapter for Bulawayo Chiefs, who will now prepare to test themselves once again against the giants of Zimbabwean football  in the 2026 PSL season.
