Doek and Slay Breaks Record as Harare Mega Edition Sells Over 10 Thousand Tickets in Just Four Hours

The highly anticipated Harare Mega Doek & Slay event has shattered records, selling over 10,000 early bird tickets in less than four hours after their release on Friday, October 24, 2025.

Organized by Event Hulks, the women-only celebration is set for December 14, 2025, and is already being hailed as one of Zimbabwe’s biggest lifestyle and empowerment gatherings of the year.

Under a “Black Friday” theme, the early bird ticket rollout sparked an unprecedented rush, with queues forming both online and at physical outlets. Organizers expressed their amazement at the overwhelming response.

“We released early bird tickets on Friday, October 24, under a Black Friday theme and didn’t anticipate stadium-level numbers — the tickets sold out in less than three hours!” said the organizers in a statement.

In light of the massive turnout, Event Hulks confirmed that a Phase 1 ticket sale will open on November 10, 2025, at 8:00 AM, with additional selling points and online access to accommodate the growing demand.

The organizers also assured patrons that plans are underway to secure a bigger venue and expand ticket availability for future editions.

Doek & Slay, known for celebrating women through fashion, empowerment, and entertainment, continues to grow into a cultural movement that unites women across Zimbabwe and beyond.

With more tickets dropping soon, anticipation is soaring as thousands of women prepare for what promises to be a mega celebration of elegance, empowerment, and sisterhood.
