In a heartwarming display of generosity, businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo has gifted renowned comedian Comic Elder $150,000 to help him secure a home.

This act of kindness comes on the heels of Comic Elder's remarkable year, which includes receiving a brand-new Ford Raptor double cab from President Emmerson Mnangagwa at State House in Harare on October 25, 2025. The President's gift was a recognition of Comic Elder's contributions to youth empowerment and his comedic brilliance, highlighted by his Best in Comedy Award at the Inaugural Youth Symposium.

The Ford Raptor gift wasn't Comic Elder's first notable present this year. Earlier, in April, he received a Toyota Aqua from Ferg Chivayo, the brother of Sir Wicknell Chivayo. These gestures underscore the impact of Comic Elder's work and the recognition he has garnered from both public figures and philanthropists.

Sir Wicknell Chivayo's philanthropic efforts have been making headlines, with over $15 million distributed in cars and gifts since January 2024. His generosity extends to various sectors, including music, sports, and church communities, cementing his reputation as a notable philanthropist in Zimbabwe.

The $150,000 gift to Comic Elder is a testament to Chivayo's continued support for talented individuals who contribute positively to society. As Comic Elder continues to inspire with his comedy, this gift will undoubtedly play a significant role in his life, providing him with a secure foundation from which to continue his work.
