The clash between traditional giants Highlanders FC and Dynamos FC has been scheduled for Thursday 25 May at Barbourfields stadium following a recent postponement by ZIFA citing that the two giants had to fulfil an Independence day fixture.

Inarguable the biggest crowd pulling match in the domestic league Highlanders is 2nd in the log with 16points behind current table toppers Ngezi Platinum who lead by a single point.

In the last five games Highlanders have 2 wins and 3 draws and out of the 8 played matches Bosso has only conceded one goal and is yet to lose a match in the league this season.

Dynamos currently on position 6 in the table in their last five games have won only one game, drawing 3 and losing 1 to free scoring Bulawayo Chiefs.

Dynamos FC will travel to Bulawayo hoping to end their bad record against Highlanders FC. The last two encounters have been in favour of the Amahlolanyama.

Highlanders have have managed to create a solid defence led by Peter Muduhwa and Andrew Mbeba who have only conceded 1 goal and scored 6 in 8 matches.

However before the pending game in hand both giants will have to first fullfil match day 9 fixture were Highlanders will be away to Cranborne bullets while Dynamos will face a tricky side Manica Diamonds at the NSS.

Struggling Champions Platinum FC will seek to bounce back to winning ways against ZPC Kariba at Mandava stadium while table toppers Ngezi Platinum are away to Chicken Inn FC.
