The Zimbabwe Music Rights Association (ZIMURA) has announced the completion of royalty processing for musical works exploited on digital platforms.

Payments are set to begin today, Thursday, 6 November 2025. Members are reminded that only those who have received an official SMS notification from ZIMURA are eligible to collect their royalties.

To ensure smooth transactions, recipients are urged to verify that their banking details on record with ZIMURA are up to date.

Highlighting the payout, ZIMURA revealed that the highest-earning member this cycle will receive a substantial USD 8,000, underscoring the growing potential of digital music streams for local artists.

ZIMURA continues to emphasize its commitment to supporting Zimbabwean musicians and ensuring they are fairly compensated for their creative works in the evolving digital landscape.
