Aspiring Member of Parliament for Nkulumane Constituency, Mothusi Ndlovu, better known as Madlela Sikhobokhobo has received campaign support from High Space Supermarket, which provided him with grocery hampers to assist his outreach efforts ahead of the 20 December by-election.
Ndlovu, who is running under the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), is seeking to fill the seat left vacant following the death of Nkulumane MP Desire Moyo on 10 October.
In a social media post, Ndlovu revealed that the supermarket chain approached him acknowledging his community work and expressing a desire to support his campaign.
The hampers were handed to Ndlovu specifically to boost his mobilisation activities. He then chose to donate them to elderly residents in Nkulumane, saying the gesture came at the right time and was warmly received by the beneficiaries.
Ndlovu said he remains committed to working closely with the corporate sector, emphasising that such partnerships are key to improving livelihoods in the constituency.
“You have seen us working with corporate players and this is not going to stop anytime soon. In us, Nkulumane will be in safe hands,” he said, urging residents to support his bid for Parliament.
He ended his message with his campaign mantra: “Asihleki, asidlali njalo.”
The Nkulumane by-election set for 20 December is expected to attract close attention as candidates outline their visions for the constituency’s future.
