Songbird and dancer Princess Hluphe popularly known as Lady P is set to launch her debut album titled Khethile Khethile.
The album will be launched on May 26, at YWCA opposite Dominican Convent High School in Bulawayo.
Lady P is an Afro-pop and dance hall artist who hails from the City of Kings and Queens.
The album launch will be graced by performances from the City's renowned artistes which include Amaqaqa, Village Boy, Abantwana beNsindiso YamaNazaretha, Thuli Sithimbili, Hardman(Mr VPC) and Mceed by MaOh and Godolude.
In an interview with BANO NEWS, Lady P said:
"Bulawayo should expect fireworks, they should look forward to witness something unique, fresh and different as it is my first album. I hope the people will love it"
"I would like to thank Moyoxide Ideations for helping me to be where I am today, thanks to my producer BMC who has been with me since day one, thanks to my dancers and everyone who has supported brand Lady P",she said.
The entity organising the launch event, who are also Lady P's Management, Moyoxide Ideations director Desire "Moyoxide" Moyo highlighted that:
"Lady P is part of Moyoxide Ideations artists mentorship project like Thaluso da Poet, she is part of Victory Siyanqoba and her solo project is called LADY P MUSICALS"
"Lady-P is a multi-Talented young lady with a bright future as a composer, song writer and enchanting stage performer. She has shared the stage with the great Dalom Kids, Matshikos, Splash Band and Peacock from South Africa".
" I have boundless energy to support her and unlimited faith in our people that together we can raise our own Songbird to join the limited list of Queens of our time- Busi Ncube,Beater Mangethe and Sandra Ndebele," he added Moyoxide.
