The National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) has officially welcomed its newly appointed Board of Directors, selected by the Minister of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture, Honourable Lt. Gen. (Rtd) A.N. Sanyatwe with the approval of His Excellency, President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa.
The new board will guide the Council’s mission to build a vibrant, thriving, and sustainable arts industry, strengthening governance and advancing the development of Zimbabwe’s creative sector.
The newly appointed NACZ Board Members (2025–2029) are:

NACZ said the appointment of this team reflects a renewed commitment to strengthening the arts ecosystem through sound policy guidance, strategic leadership, and meaningful engagement with Zimbabwe’s creative communities.
“The National Arts Council of Zimbabwe proudly welcomes its new Board. This team will help steer the vision for a vibrant, thriving, and sustainable arts industry in Zimbabwe. We look forward to working together to champion and develop the arts sector,” the Council said.
The board is expected to oversee sector-wide initiatives, support creative professionals, and promote programs that ensure the arts remain central to national identity and economic growth.
