Speaking during an interview with BANO News, the artist from Mzilikazi surbub, Lights Out highlighted the main motive behind the choice of title "Mtoriro".
" This song is all about raising awareness and using the lingo which is popping in the streets. To help spark discussion about this issue".
"The song aims to discourage kids from trying out the drug because it talks about how can can be damaged after using this drug",he said.
The Ling'jwayela kubi hit maker also hinted the decision why he chose to launch his song Bulawayo's oldest surbub Makokoba.
"There is an article by Chronicle newspaper which spoke of 'Makokoba feeding Ingutsheni with drug addicts' so I thought of taking my song to the most affected place rather than CBD, maybe CBd later and other areas after we have focused on the most affected place", said Lights Out.
Most local artists in Bulawayo have been struggling to find sponsors to fund for their music careers which has resulted in many artists quitting the entertainment industry and venturing elsewhere.
However Lights Out have defied the odds by creating some funding for himself through his entrepreneurship skills such as cooking, selling samosas, photography and video shootout among other skills.
Lights Out is also the founder, administrator and photography teacher of a mouth watering and eye catching youthful dance group stationed at the Mzilikazi Youth centre called "Loxion Dance Crew".
The Loxion Dance Crew will also entertain spectators during the Mtoriro music launch at Konka in Makokoba.
