Good News for Lobengula-Magwegwe Constituency
LOBENGULA-Magwegwe shadow MP Douglas Ncube says he will not use the strategy by other political parties of giving people promises that they don't fulfill but he is coming in with a different strategy of listening to what people want then deliver.
Ncube who has been staying in Lobengula-Magwegwe Constituency for over 45 years is set to contest for the Member of Parliament seat in that constituency.
"In my constituency I am a role model, I have been there since 1977, staying in this Constituency whereby l know a number of people, where again the ruling party is represented by people who does not dwell, some they just come for these positions"
Ncube told ZANC NEWS that in terms of his plans for the Constituency, he first want to hear what the electorate want then he delivers.
"My plans for the Constituency that I am contesting in, I would say it's very important to hear from the electorates.I don't want to use this style of other political parties whereby you come you say I would do this and that for you"
"According to me I just want to hear from the electorates whereby I would have a committee which will stand gathering the views, needs and desires of the people, what they want me to do for them, actually I am there to produce what they expect of me not for me to do whatever I think for them. They are human beings they have got their desires, so I'm there to hear from them and deliver what they want"
Commenting on the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission(ZEC) nomination prices Ncube said:
"Considering the ZEC price, the nomination price yeah that's Zimbabwe for you....indeed they are too high but we have to stand our ground and prove that we are a political party who has the zeal to lead the country," said Ncube
