THREE Bulawayo Revival Team(BRT) Athletics will this Sunday, 25 June represent the City of Bulawayo at the Tanganda half Marathon competition to be held in border town Mutare.
Tanganda Half Marathon is an athletics long distance competition which is sponsored by the tea leaves entity Tanganda.
BRT athletes will compete in the 10km junior race and the team has fielded three youths namely Esnath Pinky Ndlovu, Lesedi B Nkomo and Jabulani Ncube.
In an Interview with BANO NEWS, the BRT head Coach Themba Mhlophe said:
"We are going to Mutare for the Tanganda Marathon.It's a one off event with prizes for the winners".
"This tour was made possible by the sponsorship and support we got from the members of the BRT family namely Khumbula Khumalo, Ndabe, Lungile Ndlovu, Don Dube, Thamsanqa kaZhou, Gozelihle, MaTshambo and someone from Harare who never wanted to be named," said Mhlophe.
The team travelled today evening and is expected to be back in the city on Sunday after the competition.
