In the past years it has always been a tradition that the "Soweto and Mpankweni" stands belong to only Highlanders football fans while the Mpilo end is for the visiting teams.
However the recent refurbishment of National Sports and Rufaro stadium meant that all football teams based in Harare had to take refuge in stadiums across the country so as to fulfil Matchday fixtures.
A decision that saw Caps United and Dynamos FC deciding to use Barbourfields stadium as their temporary home ground while others took refuge elsewhere.
Dynamos and Caps united fans remain committed at Mpilo end stands despite being the hosts to away teams.
Most notable some Highlanders fans will be present at the stadium watching from Soweto stands wearing the black and white Bosso replica supporting away teams.
An intoxicated Dynamos fan received hot claps on Saturday for patrolling the Soweto stands at Barbourfields stadium during a Chibuku clash between Dynamos FC and Simba Bhora.
Speaking during an interview a fan who chose to remain anonymous narrated the ordeal which led to the conflict.
"He came to the Soweto stands and was first chased away by some supporters who openly told him that he is not allowed this side of the stadium".
"After a few mins he came back again shouting that no one owns the stadium we paid to be here if you have problem go away, this is when some fans gained on him and showered a few claps that led him to flee away", he said.
The Soweto stands remains a nightmare to most away fans and teams as it has been witnessed several times that supporters who find themselves wearing an opponents replica at the famous stands under go an immediate corporal punishment from angry Bosso fans.
