The Zimbabwe Council of Copyrights (ZICCO) is thrilled to mark its 2nd anniversary, commemorating two years of tireless efforts to promote creativity, protect intellectual property rights, and empower Zimbabwean creators.
To celebrate this milestone, ZICCO has embarked on a nationwide Road Show, which kicked off in Bulawayo and made its second stop in Gweru yesterday. The Road Show aims to engage with creators, artists, and entrepreneurs across the country, raising awareness about the importance of copyright protection and promoting ZICCO's services.
"We are proud of the progress we've made in our first two years, and we're excited to take our message to every corner of Zimbabwe. Our Road Show is a celebration of Zimbabwean creativity and innovation, and we invite everyone to join us on this journey," Said ZICCO CEO, Dr Tafadzwa Masembura
Since its inception, ZICCO has worked tirelessly to promote a culture of copyright respect in Zimbabwe, providing education and training programs, registering and protecting intellectual property rights, and advocating for policies that support creators.
The organization's efforts have not gone unnoticed. ZICCO has established partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, creative industry organizations, and international partners.
As ZICCO looks to the future, it remains committed to its mission of promoting creativity, protecting intellectual property rights, and empowering Zimbabwean creators. The organization invites all stakeholders to join the celebration and be part of its journey.
